‘Shop for SMAC’

Fundraiser for SMAC: Anybody who shops at Krogers, Martins or Food Lion can purchase grocery cards from SMAC Boosters. Cards are debit cards, swipe at checkout line just like a credit card, remaining balance printed on receipt. 5% of all purchases are profit to SMAC. Use of cards does not affect coupons, priority clubs or other discounts. Lost or stolen cards may be deactivated as long as code numbers are recorded.

How:

Martins and Food Lion Gift cards
• Give Robby Rule your order by the 18th of each month via email. (robert.rule@shell.com) He will order cards on the 23rd of each month and have them to you by the end of the month. Martins and Food Lion cards come in $50 and $100 amounts ($100 preferred). Martins and Food lion cards are unusable after reaching a balance of $0.00. You will need to re-order additional cards when you run out.
• Make arrangements with Rob to pick up and pay for your cards (generally before or after practice at YMCA). Checks should be made payable to SMAC Boosters.
• Checks will not be cashed until the end of the month.

Kroger Rechargeable Gift Cards
• Kroger cards will come in $5 amounts and can be requested from Robby Rule anytime. Kroger cards can be loaded with any amount at any Kroger location (service desk). Once loaded use as a gift/debit card.

Record Keeping
• Robby Rule will record sales of Gift Cards so amounts purchased and money earned for SMAC can be tracked. Individuals buying the gift cards should write down the numbers on the gift cards so they can be deactivated if they are lost. SMAC Boosters and Robby are not responsible for the cards once they are delivered to you.

• All checks are deposited into a separate bank account with SMAC Boosters.
• All statements available at SMAC Boosters Meetings.
• All incentives gained by Boosters Rep (currently Robby) by using credit card to make purchases of gift cards will be donated to SMAC Boosters.
• Over the last few years Boosters has been able to pay for new lane lines at the city pool, two digital clocks, all new stop watches, bus trip and entry fee for all swimmers to attend Rays Dual meet, swimmer of the month towels and numerous other items to support the SMAC Swim Team.
